Program graduates who meet graduation requirements are eligible to apply to the Georgia Board of Nursing to write the national licensure examination (NCLEX) to become registered nurses (RNs).

Nursing’s foundation consists of compassionate nursing care and exemplifies current standards of practice and current scientific /technological knowledge. Students are required to make a minimum grade of (C) in all courses each term for progression. The curriculum is designed to prepare highly educated, technically competent, and caring individuals who are prepared to practice professional nursing in a variety of healthcare settings. The Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program is a 70 semester hour program that offers a bridge option for licensed practical nurses (LPNs).
